TIMETABLE BUILDER
We are pleased to inform you of a new feature in the Gen-NEXT Information System (GIS) called the Timetable Builder.

This is one of the many new features to come in GIS. The timetable builder is a tool that can facilitate you in your selection of modules by allowing you to view the potential schedule clashes. It allows you to view the lecture and examination timetables of a maximum of seven (7) modules.

DECLARE DY ACTIVITY
We are pleased to inform you of another new feature in the Gen-NEXT Information System (GIS) Declare Your DY Activity.

This features allows you to declare their DY activity and provide critical for easy reference and administration. Students are required to declare their DY activity for both DY semesters.

A student can only use this feature AFTER registering for the DY module for the DY semester.

A Guide to Declaring Your DY Activity in GIS is available in the Student Portal (Student Portal > myStudies>Discovery Year). Please read this first.

ADD/DROP

  • Students can request to ADD new modules to the Provisional Registration or/and DROP the modules already in the Provisional Registration
  • Students who did not register for modules during the Provisional Registration can register by requesting to ADD modules
  • Request to ADD/DROP modules is made in GIS
  • Submission of a request is NOT an guaranteed approval
  • Requests will be considered by the Lecturer and/or Programme Leader of the module(s) concerned
Week 2
APPEAL

ALL students can view the final registration in GIS - EXAMINATION REGISTRATION / FINAL REGISTRATION slip [GenFS01]. Print/save this for keeping.

Mon, 15th Jan 2024 @10am to Fri, 19th Jan 2024 @11am
  • Students may appeal to make further changes to the final registration (via the ADD/DROP in GIS)
  • Students’ requests will be processed by PL within the week.
Week 3
DROP ONLY

Email sent to students to again check their final/exam registration [GenFS01] in GIS. PRINT/SAVE this for keeping.

Only DROP requests are allowed with a penalty fee of $50 per module (Students must still maintain a minimum number of MC registered for the semester).Payment receipt to be emailed to office.exam@ubd.edu.bn
